    Another option is to redirect using .htaccess (only on Apache webservers)

    Make a file called .htaccess in the directory ultimatebb.cgi resides in, and put the following in:

    Code:
    Redirect /ubbcgi/ultimate.cgi http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/index.php
    Obviously change the above to work with your site. The first part shouldn't contain the URL, just the path to the directory (i.e if your URL is http://www.yourdomain.com/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi, enter as above). The second part you can enter a URL to redirect too.

    The transistion should be seemless, hope it works

    Try putting this at the top of your Ultimate.cgi (or in a new file on it's own):

    Code:
    print "Status: 302 Redirected\n";
    print "Location: http://newboards.com\n";
    print "\n";
    exit;

    started a topic redirect from UBB to vBulletin

    redirect from UBB to vBulletin

    How do I redirect from my Ultimate.cgi page to my new and totally cool vBulletin forums? Someone suggested a print location, but that just won't do at all. The images don't show and I want people at the new url. I'm not well versed in anything but html, but I am very good at following directions. And not to be picky or anything, but something that wouldn't use much bandwidth would be a good thing as I am about to go over....

    Thanks
    Kara
