  • Problem with Backup option!

I'm having a real problem with the backup option from Admin CP. Everytime I select "Save data to file on server:" I get this error:
Warning: MySQL: Unable to save result set in e:\apache\apache\htdocs\majles\admin\db_mysql.php on line 93
and this always comes after dumping "moderator" table! Is there any problem with my database? I'm using:

    > URL: Developing locally (localhost)
    > DB: MySQL 3.23
    > Board: vBulletin 2.0.1
    > Platform: Win98
    > Server: Apache 1.3.20

PS: I had this problem since v2 beta 4, I thought I should upgrade to v2.0.1 but still having the same problem

Sorry didn't read that you're local, anyway the error message I got was very similar to yours...

    Hi there,

I had the same experience: It didn't work with the builtin feature nor phpMyAdmin, but it is a hosting issue (process/memory limit), which I managed to compensate by using MySQLMan from (free).

    Good luck,

      Thanx ThomasP, but...

I'm having a problem installing DBI package for Perl! If there any site that explain how to add DBI for Perl in details, I would be grateful.

      PS: I'm using ActivePerl [] v5.6.1.628

I appreciate any kind of help

Grab repair.php from the extras/ directory, move it to the main vB directory, run it and follow the on screen instructions. Let me know if that helps.

Thanx Ed Sullivan ... It worked

Yes the 'repair.php' corrected the problem and reported the following error (parsed from a table):

          Checking table: poll
Warning: 3 clients is using or hasn't closed the table properly
Error: Size of datafile is: 388 Should be: 408
          Repairing table: poll
Info: Found link that points at 388 (outside data file) at 204

Many..many thanx to you, I thought I'll lose my template
