I don't know. Why don't you download and install vB Lite? After all, it's purpose is to see if your host can run vB.

This odd, when I try to view any php file, including install.php it will say The page you requested is not available. what's wrong here??? I'm not sure if netfirms does support php...

I highly suggest that before you invest the time and possible money of purchasing and installing a piece of software, you first check with your hosting provider to confirm that your server is configured with the appropriate software modules in order to allow that piece of software to operate.

If you buy an automobile, you better find out if it takes regular unleaded or diesel fuel before you stick that pump nozzle in the gas tank.

I suggest you contact your hosting provider and find out if PHP is installed on your server and confirm what the version is before you attempt any further installation procedures.
