Questions on Importing

Hello all..
I am a recent convertee ( is that really a word..? ) from UBB..( since version 2.0 )

My questions are..

1.) When I get my new board all set up and want to import all of the UBB info over.. will I be able to select what forums I would like to import..?

During this rebuild process I have decided to leave some forums out of the new boards..

2.) Will this process render the current UBB inoperative in any way.. I would like to retain the UBB until the new site is completely finished and ready for release..

1) Yes, you can choose the forums.

2) No, this won't affect your UBB at all.

Keep in mind that the UBB files need to be on the same server as vB in order to perform the import. Have fun!
