  • UBB6 Import Problems

I continue to get this error when importing my old UBB 6.05 data over to vBulletin:

    Member 0 ....
Warning: Unable to access /usr/local/plesk/apache/vhosts/site.com/httpdocs/users/0.cgi in /usr/local/plesk/apache/vhosts/site.com/httpdocs/vforums/importers/bbimport_ubb6.php on line 287

Warning: file("/usr/local/plesk/apache/vhosts/site.com/httpdocs/users/0.cgi") - No such file or directory in /usr/local/plesk/apache/vhosts/site.com/httpdocs/vforums/importers/bbimport_ubb6.php on line 287
    file ok ....
Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /usr/local/plesk/apache/vhosts/site.com/httpdocs/vforums/admin/bbimport.php on line 583

Well, I have no Member "0", never have. My member numbers start with 1.

All of the paths are correct, I have checked this several times.

    Specific for site:

    PHP version : 4.0.3pl1

    MySQL version : 3.23.32

    Apache/webserver version : Apache/1.3.14

    Server operating system : Linux

    Any ideas?

Open up your $ubbmemberspath/memberslist.cgi file -- does it have a 0 user?

        No it didn't.

I made some edits to the script and made it work finally. One of the variables, that denoted the location of the non-cgi folder was hard coded to point to the "../ubb" directory. Of course, I named my non-cgi folder different in UBB and no matter what I entered in the form for the path, this variable was overriding the whole thing and causing me much grief.

I don't have an example handy, but I think that variable was suppose to be commented out with a group of other variables that were -- for example sake.

Anyway, I am good to go now.

        Thanks.
