  • Simple way to make a secure forum?

I run a rather large gaming clan (around 210-220 members), and we often have a lot of people coming and going as members. I purchased a vBulletin to replace our old Ez boards as it was starting to become too problematic to maintain.

Is there a simple and fast way to set up a forum as secure? The ideal way would be to just have a password on it that could be distributed and changed as needed.

I love my new vBulletin, but the forum security options and setup methods are way too complex and time consuming for my needs. Anyone have a solution or suggestion?
    Thanks

Use the search engine and look around at posts from the past few weeks. This topic has been discussed ad nasuem. There are a couple of hacks that you can install, etc.

You will still need to have people register if you want them to be unique in your forums though.
