    In adminfunctions.php, you need to find this line:

    <META content="text/html; charset=windows-1252" http-equiv="Content-Type">

    And change it to the correct charset (I don't know the number off hand though).

    HTML Entities problem

    Hi,

    When I place Arabic text in the templates they all become symbols like ( &amp;#1610;&amp;#1605; ). When the page is viewed they appear all ok, i mean the browser can translate those symbols and render the page correctly.

    But still this is a big problem for the following reasons:

    1) When I try to update the templates' contentents later I'll get the encoded data so I can't find anything useful in the template! If there is a word I want to change, I won't be able to find it.

    2) The encoded characters take 5 times more space than normal Arabic characters.

    3) Old browseres will not probably render the text right.

    So, i need to know where are those strings encoded and what function is used so i can fix it.

    Thanks
