  • Help with an option, please

We seem to have a problem with members spamming to raise their post counts and improve their member status. This is only a problem in the general forum.

Is there a way to remove the post counts from showing in general forum only?

And would it be possible to not count any posts from the general forum towards overall post counts?

In others words, posts in the general forum is totally exempt from any type of count.
    Thanks!

To elaborate on that what we need to do is just HIDE the Post count for one forum topic

for example right now we have it disabled so it does not effect post count in that forum topic....

but we want to go one step further and totally HIDE their post count from JUST that one forum topic so it doesn't even show up on their posts.....

Each forum's options has a "count posts" switch.

If you don't want the post counts to be displayed in that forum, you'll have to create a 2nd template set with a different postbit template and point a new style at it. Then assign that forum to that style (again in the forum's options). A bit of a pain just for that.

If you delete a thread, the user's post count will be updated accordingly, so you could just remove his spam.
