  • Error When Clicking User > Add on CP

    This is the error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 2097152 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 270336 bytes) in /sessions.php3 on line 341

    I get it every time.
This is a new installation of vBulletin 2.0.1

    Thanks,
    John

    Additional Information

I am also getting a similar error when trying to register.

    php: 4.0
    MySQL 3.22.27
    Platform: Unix - Solaris
    Webserver: Apache

I found the following in the installation.htm file:

In Apache for Unix/Linux (i.e. PHP as Apache Module) you will need just the following line in your httpd.conf file:

    AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .php

I don't know where the httpd.conf file is located and support at my hosting service said to call back on Monday to find out if php is being run as a Apache module.

Since I'm not sure if the above is related to the error it seemed best to mention it.

    John

You'll want to talk to your host to ask them to raise the memory limit in the php.ini -- it's 1/4th of the default max size.
