  • How do I set /mysite/forums/index.php as the homepage?

    I tried using .htaccess and set it as

    DirectoryIndex /forums/index.php

    The problem is, it directs me to the right page, but all of my images are broken.
    When I manually type in /mysite/forums/index.php, everything comes out ok.

    I've tried it without the / in front of "forums" as well.

    Thanks for your help

      Didn't work.
      I received some server error when I tried redirecting. It said that it didn't have access to forums

          Or make a file called index.php with this in it:
          PHP Code:
          <?php
          header
          ("Location:http://fullurl.com/forums");
          ?>

            Quick question,
            Which method would be more search engine friendly?
            Would the search engines not like the redirect in the index.php?

            Thanks again guys
