  • How do I change the TITLE BAR ?

    Hi there,

    How do I change the title bar to a different name?

    now it says "pets.ca - powered by Vbulletin"

    I would like to change this to something else.

    Thanks

    I believe you go to styles in your control panel and then edit, select fonts/colors go down tothe header template, I think it is in there.

        You'll have to modify the specific templates <title> tags. That one is forumhome.

          When I try to bookmark the main page of my forum, the bookmark reads "Forums - powered by vBulletin". I want to customize the word "Forums". Here is what the page source looks like:

          <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
          <html>
          <head>
          <!-- no cache headers -->
          <meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache">
          <meta http-equiv="no-cache">
          <meta http-equiv="Expires" content="-1">
          <meta http-equiv="Cache-Control" content="no-cache">
          <!-- end no cache headers -->
          <meta name="keywords" content="vbulletin,forum,bbs,discussion,jelsoft">

          <meta name="description" content=" Forums is a discussion forum powered by vBulletin. To visit the forum, go to http://www.danelen.com/forums/ . To find out about vBulletin, go to http://www.vbulletin.com/ .">
          <title> Forums - powered by vBulletin</title>
          <meta http-equiv="MSThemeCompatible" content="Yes">
          <style type="text/css">
          BODY {
          SCROLLBAR-BASE-COLOR: #606096;
          SCROLLBAR-ARROW-COLOR: #FFF788;
          }

          For the life of me I cannot find the file to edit to change the <title> information of the main forum page. I am a newly licensed user of version 2.2.8 and my site is www.danelen.com/forums.

          TIA,

          Robert

              Thank you, Steve. As a new user I'm still a little shell shocked with PHP. My first reaction is that I'm going to have to go in and modify the templates. It was a lot less complicated than expected.
