  • Adding PHP to templates?

    I want to add the following the vBulletin's footer:

    PHP Code:
    <?
    include ("http://www.adventuregamers/com/banners/banners.inc");
    show_banner ($li,1); ?>
    However that doesnt'seem to work. Is it possible to use PHP in the templates?

    No, templates aren't parsed for PHP code. You could put that in the phpinclude and assign show_banner to a variable, then call that banner from within your footer template.

      When I write this in phpinclude:

      PHP Code:
      include ("http://www.adventuregamers.com/banners/banners.inc");
      $insertbanner show_banner($li,1);
      the banner simply shows up at the top, instead of in the footer where I placed $insertbanner
      what's wrong?

      P.S. This also shows up after a while under the banner:

      Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at http://www.adventuregamers.com/banners/banners.inc:66) in /home/sites/site55/web/forums/admin/functions.php on line 1187
