Global setting changes...

Since I just recently imported from a UBB5 system, the members have certain settings set a way I don't want them to be set. Is there a MySQL query I can run to change EVERYONE how I want the following:

Email notification: OFF
Automatically check signature: OFF

Also, can I completely disable thread rating in a similar manner or just turn off the option completely? Thanks.

To turn email notification off, run this query in phpMyAdmin:

UPDATE user SET emailnotification=0

I'm not sure about the signatures because I haven't done that. At least I know the email one works.

And yes you can turn off thread rating in the CP. I think it may be on a forum-by-forum basis though. I'm not sure.

There is no option for "Automatically Check Signature". If the member has a signature in their profile this will be checked.

You could turn off signatures completely though under the options for Users and Registration.

Nevermind, I figured out a good way to change the sig checkbox using templates. I have New Threads set with it checked ON and Replies set OFF.

Thanks for the help anyways. I'm REALLY liking this vB stuff. So much nicer than UBB.
