Problem with Email verification

I had/have email verification off right now.
When I tried to turn it on, and then registered a username to see if it works, I got an email with the activation link.

But when I click on the activation link, it just gives blank screen:

I then checked the username whether it was removed from the users awaiting email verification, and the username was still there, so the process didnt work.

I also tried this link:

and again, it gives a blank screen.

Anybody know why?

BTW, this is vBulletin 2.0 Gold
I remember I had exactly the same problem when I was still running vB 1.1.5 some time ago, but I just didn't care for it too much then

I followed that link and it thanked me for registering/activating/whatever it said and then took me to the forums page. When I clicked on it a second time it gave me the proper error message about already being activated.
