Hits / Page Views in vB

Hi there,

finally upgraded to vB 2.0 - very nice!

Now I'm curious about the Hits in vB as they count every page view.
Rather than counting every view I would prefer to have page views counted on a session basis.

So if a user logs in and has a look at a thread three times it should be counted as one hit during one session.

Any chance to tweak this setting?

To do that simple change it would mean recoding the entire view system and taking up significantly more resources than the simple update that's there now.

Hmm, well okay,
that's a point

Maybe this would be a suggestion for 2.1 or later
together with the integration of the "Whois where online"-hack...
