  • Search Not Working

    Search isn't working on my forums (http://www.fullwormage.com/forums) when the "FW.com New Age" template set is selected, I added a new template set (after 2.0.0 came out) and search works on those, I have tried reverting the all search templates back and it still does not work on that template set.

    What gives?

      Does the default styleset work properly?

        Yes, that's what makes it wierd.

          So you have changed the HTML in some manner that is causing it no longer function then. Perhaps revert your modified searchintro template, verify it works, then remodify it being careful to not change any form names.

            I have reverted it, and even when it's reverted it doesn't work. What else could the templates be effecting it by.

              Have you checked for unclosed tags in your header/headincludes? It sounds a lot like an unclosed <form> tag somewhere, although I'm not sure exactly where.

                I seem to have a similar problem..

                I installed my forum from scratch and imported catagories and forums from and sql deck.

                All seems to work... its almost vanilla and certainly no changes
                (hacks) in that area.

                  George - I cannot reproduce any problems on your forum. Make sure that you have rebuilt the search index too.

                    I think that HTML checker has some problems.

                    It says things like...

                    </head>
                    "Closing tag without opening tag"

                    When it's in plain site that <head> is there and nested correctly (kinda heard to screw that up).

                    I'm at a loss for words.

                    (Search on that template set still doesn't work )
