      OK, thanks Eva this is what i'm looking for, but could you please post the original code here ? I'm a little bit confused when looking at your page's code with the session hash code in it....

      Thanks,

        okay here it is you might need to edit the images out
        Code:
           <table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" align="right" bgcolor="#F1F1F1" width="100%">
            <form action="/search.php" method="post">
             <input type="hidden" name="s" value="$session[sessionhash]">
             <input type="hidden" name="booleanand" value="yes">
             <input type="hidden" name="forumchoice" value="- 1">
             <input type="hidden" name="searchin" value="subject">
             <input type="hidden" name="searchdate" value="-1">
             <input type="hidden" name="action"  value="simplesearch">
             <tr valign="middle">
              <td height="30"><img src="/images/header/corner.gif" width="40" height="30"></td>
              <td><font size="1">&nbsp;Search for:</font></td>
              <td>&nbsp;
               <input type="text" name="query" size="15">
              </td>
              <td><font size="1">&nbsp;in</font></td>
              <td> &nbsp;
               <select name="select2">
                <option selected style="background-color: #ccc9c9; color=#000000;">Forums</option>
               </select>
              </td>
              <td>
               <input type="image" border="0" value="Search" src="/images/header/search.gif" width="48" height="17">
               &nbsp;</td>
             </tr>
            </form>

          Thanks eva,

          <input type="hidden" name="s" value="$session[sessionhash]">
          Do you think I should leave this ? The search is not on a vb page so $session[sessionhash]" won't get converted to the appropriate code....
