There were only 2 attachments in the queue when I got there -- if you look at the forum I created, I had no problem posting the attachments because the queue wasn't on.

    Yo!

So, I had it ok to begin with and just didn't approve them (doh me!) Is that you who went in and approved the attachments? It wasn't me!

    THANKS!

You had (and still have) the attachment queue turned on in each forums options. You can turn that off, or leave it on and just approve attachments in the attachment queue in .../forums/mod/

My server is running BSD and Apache.

Also, people have been able to upload personal avatars, but no file can be uploaded as part of a post, etc.

Email me FTP and a user login and I'll take a look at it WHEN I GET A CHANCE. I didn't notice anything wrong in the phpinfo offhand.

Posting a script with phpinfo() in it won't help us -- we need to see your phpinfo() output, not ours.

This might be useful to people here?

To help our VB friends when you post potential problems.

Simply upload to your server and run it from your browser. It gives you everything you should need to pass on.
