  • Sending links changes login?

I'm running 2.3.4 and having one slight problem:

When I send someone a link of a thread (copy the URL from my browser and e-mail it to them) if they are already logged in, following my link will log them in as ME! (Administrator)

If they are not logged in of course it asks for username and pass but if they already are logged in and they follow my link it changes their login.

Is it something I'm doing wrong? Or a setting I can change?

Do you have cookies disabled in your browser? Does the link have a lot of numbers and letters at the end?

There's no way that should happen.
Try disabling all your plugins and reuploading all the default vBulletin files, overwriting your current files.

I don't know what a plugin is or how to disable it, but upon further review this might only be happening on PC's that I have logged in on in the past, so maybe cookies from my login are still there in spite of the other user being logged on also.
