Unregistered User Titles

This has been happening since at least BETA 2. Its not really a problem, just an observation.

Unregistered users who are allowed to post in a forum show up as "Guest" as their user title, but it seems their title as a user group is set in administration to "Anonymous".

Where does "Guest" come from?

i can't find it in this php-file.



My problem is: I want to allow that unregistered people can post messages into the forum.
To specify another username, i have changed one line in the sessions.php:

  $bbuserinfo['username']=iif ($username=="","Nicht registriert",htmlspecialchars($username)); 

but, the user-title is still "Guest" and after the "Registered"-section still stands "Not yet".
Where can i change this two things!?

The words you're looking for are located in showthread.php, real close to each other. There's really not much else that can be said about it.

I have found it, but it was located in the admin/functions.php.

Whoops! Sorry, I completely forgot about the getpostbit() function. I was trying to use info from this thread without looking at the date (13 months ago).
