    White flicker on Dark Background

    I'm patiently (well try to!) waiting for the UBB6 import scripts, but in the meantime, I am changing some graphics, etc. to prepare for a possible switch to VB2.

    I do notice though, when the pages load, there is an annoying white flicker as the page initially loads white, then switches to the background color (black - I know black is passe, but I like it). So far it's not browser nor OS specific.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Check the bgcolor you have specified in your <body> tag replacement variable.

      Checked, it's #000000, what it's supposed to be.

        Anyone have anything to suggest?

        It creates quite the headache, and will be a deciding factor in whether or not we switch from UBB6 to VB2.

          The problem is most likely caused by the significant amount of HTML you have in your <head> tag. That should be in your 'header' template.
