Is there a setting that will do this?

I would like unregistered members to be able to see the main forum summary page, and perhaps the list of threads available in each forum, but NOT be able to read any of the threads.

I assumed that setting it so unregistered people could see the board, but NOT view other people's threads would do it. However, it didn't. I can log out and still read everything.

Is there a setting that will do this for me? Or am I out of luck?

Try it from another browser - it might just be that your cookie hasn't cleared properly.
