  • How to set 'Browse the Board with Cookies' to yes

    I am getting ready to import my UBB 5.45c board over to vB. One of the things I'd like to do is to set all imported users to 'Browse the Board with Cookies' by default.

    I modified a simple script to do this, but in my test this isn't working. Here's the code:

    Code:
    <?php
    require("global.php");
    $DB_site->query("UPDATE user SET cookieuser=1");
    ?>
    However after running this script from my browser, this option did not change in any of the users. What am I doing wrong? Any help in making this work would be greatly appreciated.

    Never mind - I found the problem. I needed to set 'nosessionhash' instead of 'cookieuser'.
