    maybe you have persistant connections disabled (that's line 37).

    Open config.php at at the bottom, change $usepconnect = 1 to 0.

    hrmm.... I just realized something. You're talking about install of what version??

    I don't see function db_mysql() anywhere in vb2rc1.

    Jakeman the source code thingy is true for MySQL errors, not for PHP errors. The PHP errors is 'what you see is what you get'

    Knoman -- what is your PHP version? And did you edit config.php?

    the vB gurus that will ultimately help you with this problem will want to see the source code of the error page. The source code of the error page will have much more detailed information on the error.

    Hi,

    I just updated my php version from 5.4.28 to php 5.6 and updated my apache from 2.2 to 2.4 and after that i tried to open my vbulletin v 5.1.10 and got this error "HTTP ERROR 500"....
