Is it possible to shorten the timeout for users shown in the active list?
It's now 5 minutes and I would like it to be 1 minute.

Any ideas on how to do this?

Change your cookie timeout to be 60 seconds.

Changing your cookie timeout to anything less than the default 300 seconds is not a very good idea.

That is, unless, you want to relogin every minute it takes you to read posts.

cookie timeout is 900 as default..
