  • Strange mysql problem

I'm here representing a forum which I do not own. It's version is 2.3.2, and it's been having a few database problems recently. However, this one is unusual because unlike the others it's not caused by the server and it won't go away. There are three areas on the site that we can't access - the Shoutbox, main forum page, and a sub forum called Ships. Some parts of other threads seem to be not allowing us to read past the 31st post, and the search thing seems to be doing that as well. We can still get on the rest of the forums.

The database error that comes up says:

    Warning
: mysql_query(): Unable to save result set in /home/acciofir/public_html/forum/admin/db_mysql.php on line 93

There seems to have been a slight problem with the Accio Firebolt Forum database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

    We apologise for any inconvenience.
The admin of the forums isn't around very often, and although she has recently given us a deputy to semi-replace her, he's a novice to the admin features. Help!

You need to right click, view source, and paste the error here.

Also you NEED to upgrade as soon as it is humanly poissible, your current version of vB is great risk due to old security issues.

I can't update, because I'm not the forum owner. But this is the error.

The table is marked as crashed. You need to repair it

You can go into phpmyadmin and repair the tables.
