    At least for me...

Last night my database started throwing errors that there were too many users. I got hold of VenturesOnline and they said they bumped up my limit to over 2000.

Today I am getting a ton of errors on the board. Even one of my super mods can't write to one or two of the forums.

I just tried to run "Update Thread Info" and got this error:

    Thread ids:

    Processing thread 1999
    Processing thread 1998
    Processing thread 1997
    Processing thread 1993
    Processing thread 1992
    Processing thread 1991
    Processing thread 1990
    Processing thread 1989
    Processing thread 1987
    Processing thread 1986
    Processing thread 1985
    Processing thread 1983
    Processing thread 1982
    Processing thread 1979

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database. Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

Is there anyone I can pay to get this fixed? I cannot afford for my database to get screwed up.

Please respond asap with what ever info you need.

    Thank you

    2000?? Seems just slightly excessive..

Anyway you need to post the page source of that error page.

Wouldn't even know where to begin.

Back to where I was at the beginning.

Need to hire someone right now.

What or where do I go?

Hi m8, ICQ Dan or send a message in VIA the help desk.. OR goto the ventureonline site and go into the forums (al vb i might note ) and post in there.

You need to actually turn of mysql, which u cannot do, and I dont know if they will turn it off for you (are u on a shared account).... best to speak to them directly, u dont need to hire anybody!

                    Thanks Everyone.

Once again a reason why I think moving to VenturesOnline was a very smart move. Dan took care of it for me and all is well.

However, can anyone tell me what I can do to prevent this from happening? Any preventive measures that I can easily institute?
