How do I disable html for standard registered accounts but keep it enabled for admin accounts??

I like to use html for my own posts but I want it restricted for everyone else in the same breathe.

    Help appreciated

You cannot, it is a global option, not a usergroup option.

It sure would be a welcome feature.

Check on vBulletin.org for hacks, as I'm sure that SOMEONE has written a v2.x.x hack for this in the past. However, the vB.com team doesn't really spend much time at all adding new features to v2.x.x, as they would rather focus on providing updates for the v3.x.x users, as they represent the vast majority of Jelsoft's current market.

I use THIS ONE to allow HTML by usergroup, seems to work perfect.

There are links there for earlier versions.

You need to set this per forum here:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager -> Edit Forum -> Allow HTML -> No

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)
