  • No PM Limit for Moderators?

Did a search but did not find much...

Under VB2 Administrators do not appear to be bound by the Max limit of PMs they can store... Is there any way to extend this to Moderators as well? Even if it is the code, can someone direct me to the right place?

Some of my reading mentioned that under VB3 you can set limits per group, but I did not see this option under VB2.

    Thanks

Yup, this is indeed possible for any usergroup.

Admin CP > Usergroups > Usergroup manager > select usergroup > PM Limits

Only in vB3 Otherwise its a global setting in the vB Options.

Can you tell me where Administrators are excluded from this... Our PM limit is set to 150 and I have several admins who have pms into the 200s.

        Thanks

Admins are exempt from the PM limit in vB2. To extend this to Moderators requires modifying the code. You can try asking over at vbulletin.org for help with this.
