  • Help me make a custom vB code tag

    I was wondering if it is possible to make a vB code custom tag that accepts more than two variables.

    What I need to do is find a way to let people put in flash movies...

    I believe the HTML tag is like this:
    Code:
    <embed src="(URL)" height="X" width="Y" menu="true" scale="noborder" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
    pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" quality="high"></embed>
    The three variables are the source URL, and the width and height (in pixels).

    So is this possible?

    You'd basically have to hack it.

      And if anyone can help me with that, show me exactly what I need to do, I would muchly appreciate it...

      (And if this then needs to be moved to the Hacks forum, no problem...)

      Thanks!

        vB Code tag: swf

        vB Code replacement:
        <embed width="\5" height="\5" src="\7" type="application/x-shockwave-flash">

        vB Code example
        [swf=500]http://www.>>>>>>.swf[/swf]

        Use parameter:
        Yes

          You should use {option} instead of \5 and {param} instead of \7

            In fahad's example, wouldn't the width and height both be set to the same thing (in this case, 500)? I need them to be independent. I need three separate independently-set variables.
