Ok... As posted eariler in the wrong forum, I'm having some difficult time with a certain member on a forum I moderate. To test out the IP ban function, I went and IP banned myself from the DB (DB > Forum > Setting > settingid 98). I was glad to see that the IP banned message appear correctly; so I went and removed my IP from DB. I was expecting that I can access the forum again, but much to my surprise, no, I still cannot access the forum... I cleared my cookies and cache, thinking maybe this would work, and its still not working... Do you guys have any suggestions as to why this is happening and how I can come about fixing it? Seesh... miserable member causing myself to be miserable... lol

Do you have any IPs banned? Most likely there'es a mistake in this list (for instance a hard return instead of a space.)Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

Yes, there are other IPs banned; but that -- appearently -- wasn't the problem.
I went into ACP, cut all the contents of the IP ban field, then saved, and pasted it back into the field, and saved again. Then I can access the forum again. I think it may be presistant connection caching the query about my IP ban and thus doesn't work; or something silly like that...
Thanks all for helpingBest Regards,
