    I think you are better of making a custom class for <div> and applying this with xhtml/css - then the css code can go into a few custom classes, and the <div> code won't be more then 150 characters. You might want to get some help on that from experienced xhtml/css coders like KuraFire, etc.
    You could use something like Mountaintop Corners for this, assuming you don't mind making it a fixed width quote-box...
