Conversion from WebBBS

I searched the forums and could find no assistance for this, and so the following questions.

I have installed vB2.0 and things look great. I would like to convert 6 years of WebBBS posts to vB format however.

Any scripts to assist me?

If I manually enter posts (of course I won't enter 5 years of posts, but...), the dates are incorrect. Can I change the dates other than through MySQL directly? Is there anything I need to watch out for if I do this?

No, it's a flat file board. The posts are in individual files, which contain <next> and <prev> tags identifying the order of threads.

for the date, vB uses the UNIX timestamp.

you can use the following php function to convert a date to the UNIX timestamp:

int mktime (int hour, int minute, int second, int month, int day, int year)
