Situation:
Everytime someone goes thru the registration process and clicks submit they are directed to server error page.
Otherwise they have registered and all else looks normal.
Problem:
I took a look at the error_log and saw this message -
"malformed header from script. Bad [email protected] User u: /us
r/local/etc/httpd/cgi-bin/php"
I modified my sendmail.cf cw option to use remote mailer since my MX record points to an external mailer.
I then change my e-mail address from [email protected] to another e-mail address on the VB Admin page.
When I register again "bang" "malformed header from script. Bad [email protected] User u: /us
r/local/etc/httpd/cgi-bin/php"
Noticed the same e-mail address. Well I did a quick new install with a different e-mail address from a different domain and it work perfectly. So I restore my BB and tried it again. No luck.
I then went in the database and find one option in "settings" that still had my clublexus e-mail address and change it manually. I restopped and restarted MySql and tried to register again. Same problem.
Question:
How and where do I find all references to my e-mail address to change it and why did the clean install work? Help this is bad.......Is there a variable being set for my address somewhere through the install script that is not reflected on the database?
Thanks for any/all help....
