  • switch off posting by a member ?

In 1.1.5 i could go into an individual member's profile and select NO to - can member post

this was the easy way of turning off a particular member's posting privileges temporarily without banning him.

But that has disappeared from vb 2.0 beta 2

Now i have to change their usergroup to Banned by Moderator for the same effect.

Is there a setting i am missing for a quick 1 click action ?

When you do a FIND in VB2, you'll see some links:

[edit] [email password] [remove] [edit access]

Click EDIT ACCESS and you can assign which forums they can post to. I've ban 12 people this weekend using this feature.
