  • parsing php code on the templates?

    hi,
i just put a code together that will call up the top 10 posters table..
i edited misc.php and pasted this code in there (its php code that connects to the mysql database, runs a query and extracts the top 10posters into a nicely organized table), this did not work, the php code just showed up and the code was not parsed.

the reason i did it using the misc.php mod, is because i want to maintain the same layout throught the forum..

any ideas, what can I do, now that misc.php did not work, hopefully i have other options

PHP code does not parse in the templates. You need to put your PHP code into the special phpinclude template. Evaluate your output to a variable and then use that variable in your templates.
