Private Messages in Send Folders on Import Probs .. Check Attachment

Hi,

My prob is not getting resolved at all. Although trying my best.
I am importing from invision 1.3 to vb 2.3.4
The imported PMs are perfect in all the folders.
Except the Send PMs Folder.

Each and every thing on board is resolved. ONly the PM is left.
This time i Attached a Image. to clarify more.
Need help. to fix this thing..... only..

I have attached 2 images the one is the default invision send pms folder -> invision working.jpg

And the other which i am having problem with -> vb import pm prob.jpg

Help me fix a solution for this. I am using the default import scripts available 2 weeks back for import from invision 1.3

Did you update all the counters after importing?

hi Steve yeah.
after importing everything i rebuild the search index, updated thread info, updated forums info and also the counters..
I followed each and every step as mentioned. it all ran successfully without any failures.

Sorry I really don't know what else it could be. I've done several IPB imports and never seen this problem before. At this point all I can recommend is filling out a support ticket and we can assign it to Jerry.

You told me yesterday on IRC that you fixed the PM issue yourself by changing one line in the import script?

Well, you could run a query to set all privmsg in the sent box to status read.
I am just not a good query maker :>

nah.
I did the following things which screwed the send pm folders more.
I was able to see around 20 messages in send folder instead of 6 :S

Here is what i did
on line 894 select statement
WHERE touser.importuserid=member_id (This Statement is Wrong.)
I changed it too WHERE touser.importuserid=recipient_id

Which screwed the entire thing om vb db..

my prob is resolved my changing the script .
seems by invision db default fields changed due to lots of hacks.

changing the importer script made it work
PROBLEM fixed now

I tried to explain to you on IRC.

I told you to compare the fields and data of your hacked up (then reverted to default) installation to a fresh install and you instantly replied "yes, it is the same".

I am glad you figured it out and got things going. I was pretty sure the import was working correctly.
