  • Some Lay-Out / viewing problems

    Hi there!

I have a really weird lay-out problem. Actually two.
To start with the simple one. When looking at the last topics in a forum list, the time is displayed,

but not the date. This is very annoying, how do I solve this? (example: IMG 1)
Second problem (a bigger more important problem): when I post a anouncement on the forum, the complete

lay-out is destroyed. If it is a anouncement in a section where no more messages are posted there is no

problem. (example: IMG 2), if there already message posted (like in almost every section) I get an ugly

blue bar and all fields are moved (example: IMG 3). How do I solve this??

    (Dutch version:
    Hey daar!
ik heb een aardig vreemd lay-out probleem. Twee eigenlijk.

Which version of vB are you running? Do you have this same problem when using a style with the default templates? Diid you make any changes to your Date/Time setting in the AdminCP?

My normal forum is running under v2.2.6 and my test forum (that's where the screenshots came from) v2.3.4. I have the problems by both forums.

When I set the template (wich I think that's the correct template to reset) to default, the problem stil exists.
No, I didn't make ane changes to the date/time settings. If I look on the index I see by the last post date + time, only if I go into a forum I only see the time of the post.

It's a little bit difficult because I got the forum from somebody else and I don't know excactly what's changed and removed etc.

...with 'x' being the styleid number of a style with the original templates. O

I 've tryed "http://www.soccerquest.nl/forum/index.php&styleid=Default" but that doesn't work... And "http://www.soccerquest.nl/forum/index.php&styleid=VI" neither.

You need to use the styleid number, not the name.

And how can I find that?

                  http://www.soccerquest.nl/forum/index.php&styleid=1 doesn't work...

In the Styles secton of the Admin CP, hover over the edit link of this style. You will see the styleid number in the URL.

                            :| you don't know what....

                            ok, I'll try again.
Please look to the 2nd en 3th screenshot. You see that when I post an announcement that the "things" are going one table to the right.
By subject (onderwerp) stays nothing. By started by (gestart door) the subject, by Anwsers (antw.) the starter etc..

by the 1st screenshot you can only see in the last columb the time. But time+date is normal. So the date is missing.
