    Uploading new icons

I've been trying to upload icons that corresponded with my old board posts on my old UBB - I keep getting the following message:

    ___________________
Warning: Unable to create 'images/icons/icon236.gif': No such file or directory in /usr/home/a0004317/html/coexboard/admin/icon.php on line 38

    Icon successfuly uploaded

a little help - I guess I'm not sure what to put in for the full root path...my icons directory is in the images directory

I got some weird message like that, too.

then I figgered out I didn't have to upload them. I just FTP'd them then used the "add" function...

    same thing for smilies

This error is occuring because PHP does not have the neccessary permissions to write to the destination directory. You may have to chmod it to 777 while you do the uploads, and then back to its original value once you are done. If this does not solve it, you will just have to upload and add manually.
