    Can't Turn Forums Off!

I went to turn my forums off in the Control Panel options to upgrade to 1.1.4 (which went just smoothly BTW...thanks!) and they didn't turn off! I reloaded the page afterwards just to make sure it wasn't coming from cache, either. I had to bring MySQL down to safely run the upgrade. When I brought 1.1.4 back up, I tested this and I still have the problem. I'm sure someone would have noticed this before, so is there perhaps some file or something screwed up on my machine? Thanks in advance.

as admin user of the vB you are able to access and view the forums while being closed to all members... this is probably what you're experience.. which is normal.

Test this by creating a test account.... and log out of admin and see

      Duh!

Never thought of that...and of course I can't have more than one login per computer with my current settings :-) Thanks!
