    vBulletin 2.3.3

vBulletin 2.3.3 is a minor bug fix release. The majority of the bugs are fairly trivial. Some of the bug fixes include:
    • Doubles in buddy list not prevented. Details
    • Show all posts in print thread view doesn't work. (implementation changed) Details
    • Mass email in control panel fields are case sensitive. Details
    • PM to buddies doesn't work when only sending to one buddy. Details
A full list can be found here.

    Backing up forums

Please be sure to check your backups, that they are complete before continuing with an upgrade. We had reports that PHP was causing time out errors when creating the back up SQL, and this was causing for incomplete or corrupted backups. The safest way to do a backup is to use the mysqldump utility through telnet, as it will not suffer from any such problems.

    Installation / Upgrade Instructions
These are available in the Members Area.

    Template Changes (from 2.3.2)
    • error_mergebadurl - Added that your link shouldn't have "goto=next" in it.
    • printthread - Changed the "show all posts" link as this is no longer the purpose of that link.
    • threads_splitthread - Added a maxlength/size attribute to the new thread title input box
