  • Upgrade to 5.0.2 stuck on step 502 rc1 step 1

    It stays on the same process for a few hours now. It keeps printing the same message again and again (see below). When I refresh the page, it starts the same step 1 and never proceeds to the next step. It looks like it got stuck in the loop.

    Step 1 - Importing Missing Member Albums
    Processed 46 records

    It is a known bug : http://jira.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-9795

    To temporary fix it take full database backup and run those queries :
    Code:
    DELETE al.* FROM {TABLE_PREFIX}album AS al LEFT JOIN {TABLE_PREFIX}user AS u ON al.userid = u.userid WHERE u.userid IS NULL;
    DELETE at.* FROM {TABLE_PREFIX}attachment AS at LEFT JOIN {TABLE_PREFIX}user AS u ON at.userid = u.userid WHERE u.userid IS NULL AND at.contenttypeid = (SELECT contenttypeid FROM {TABLE_PREFIX}contenttype WHERE class = 'Album');
    *Replace {TABLE_PREFIX} with your vBulletin tables prefix.

    ... then run the upgrade script again.

        Thanks for posting this. Ran into this issue upgrading from 3.7.4 to 5.0.2 and was just going crazy trying to figure out if it was on my end or a script issue. The fixed worked like a charm and I am that much closer to seeing if this update worked. Looking forward to the new layout.

            It is in the /core/includes/config.php file.
