    You can use SVG images in your style. Most of the icons in the default vBulletin 5 styles are actually SVG images stored in a template in the database.

    It isn't recommended to allow upload of SVG images at this time.

    The necessary viewbox and preserve aspect ratio attributes have never worked on Internet Explorer or Edge web browsers. Without them there is not enough defined scale information for svg images, which cannot be scaled like raster graphics. It would be impossible to limit file sizes under those conditions.
