  • Installation error on local Xampp server

    Hi there.

I am trying to install the software on the local Xampp server, but I get the following error:

    Advertencia : TIMENOW constante ya definido en C: \ xampp \ htdocs \ foro \ core \ install \ init.php en la línea 18 mysqli_fetch_array (): Argument # 1 ($ result) debe ser de tipo mysqli_result, bool dado

    For what is this?

Make sure your database information is correct in the /core/includes/config.php file.

This is what you reported in the first post.

Argument # 1 ($ result) debe ser de tipo mysqli_result, bool dado

It means that there is no database connection. This means that the database information in your /core/includes/config.php is incorrect or the database user doesn't have permission to access your database.

Thank you very much, it is already being installed.

It did not recognize the name of the database I had to create a new one with another name and that way it worked.

I already installed the vBulletin but now. I get the following:

Warning: Array to string conversion in C:\xampp\htdocs\foro\includes\vb5\template\cache.php on line 247A System Error has occured.
The software is experiencing a systems error.
You should attempt to repeat your last action. If this error occurs again, please contact the site administrator.

Make sure you're not using PHP 8. PHP 7.4 is the highest supported version in the current vBulletin release.
