After Upgrade from 4.2.5 to 5.6.4 image attachments are not displayed within post and avatars not available

After upgrade the attached files titles like pdf are shown in attachment box, but cannot download, also images originally displayed within posts are unavailable in vb5.6.4. Also I could not get avatars to work. kindly help

Did you move the file attachments from the vBulletin 4.X directory to your vBulletin 5.X directory?

Did you move your custom avatars from 4.X's /customavatars to vBulletin 5's /core/customavatars?

attachments are now working. I had to re-upload the folder.
avatars are stored in vb4 in .up folder same with attachments. still not displayed.

What is the value for avatar storage in the AdminCP? It should be listed under Settings → User Picture Storage Type? It expects the directory to be within the /core directory.
