The system will automatically redirect /install/install.php and install/upgrade.php to /core/install/install.php and /core/install/upgrade.php on a properly configured server.
We comment out the RewriteBase command because most customers don't actually need it. Those that do need it will use a variety of directory names to hold their vBulletin so we can't really guess. Will look into updating the Readme to handle this.

I found the issue was due to RewriteBase being commented out by default in the .htaccess

vBulletin upgrade.php location
I am currently following the instructions for upgrading vBulletin to 5.5.1. I also checked in the included readme and the online help but could not find install/upgrade.php. I did find core/install/upgrade.php
Have I downloaded the correct package? Do I need to enable something else for this to work correctly?Tags: None
