    If you're on GoDaddy, it will always time out. You need to refresh the upgrade.php page in your browser if it doesn't restart then wait 15 minutes and try again. This is a GoDaddy Server issue and not something we have control over.

    Having problems with fresh install

    Hello,

    I am having problems installing VBulletin 5.1.8 on my website. I ran the install and everything goes fine until it hits 73% (step 14 of 20) and now it just gets stuck there. I read around the web and most people say to just run the upgrade.php after it gets stuck and yes it installed but my forum looks like crap. http://realsportsforum.com. I deleted all the files and tried over and over again and this is all I get. I am on Godaddy shared with this account "Ultimate Linux Hosting with cPanel". I don't understand what could be going wrong I even upgraded my cpu and resources but to no avail.
