Ok, but I'am waiting now for more than 15 minutes. Its running fine, the dots are scrolling.
Is there something els what I can do, before I start the upgrade again?

You could try to refresh the screen in your browser.

            Nothing happens then?

Do you upgrade from a fresh 4.2 or with a 4.2 with content?

              No, nothing happens.

First I have try is with a fresh install, thats works great, the second try was with my copied live database (4.2.0) to a new database and thats stucks.
In my public_html folder I have only put in the files of 5.0 beta 10. There are no VB4 files in it.

But my live database (vb4) have several modifies en 3 languages, css stores in file.

Remove the extra languages and store CSS in the database before trying the upgrade.

Wayne, I removed the extra languages and stored CSS now in de database, but I have the same issue.

It seems to hang at 4.2.1 Alpha 1 to 5.0.0 Beta 10

I have try it with putty (command line), and then I get this error:

Ok, I resolved this issue myself, the user table voor my admin account must be 1, was for many years 3449. I have changed it now, and the upgrade proces is going on now
