  • vBulletin 4.2.0 Patch Level 2 to vBulletin 5.0.0 Beta 11 Upgrade Issue

I was upgrading from vBulletin 4.2.0 Patch Level 2 to vBulletin 5.0.0 Beta 11 and I got this error, I refreshed and continued but I am worried that it will cause issues at a later time. What seems to be the issue?

After my second error I posted above, I refreshed but I can't seem to get past it, what should I do?

I got the same errors. I just restarted the upgrade and it worked but... now I'm getting two errors and I can't get my head around them... I'm sure they are quite simple for some people to solve...

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session
cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at [path]/forum.php:1) in
    [path]/includes/facebook/facebook.php on line

Fatal error: Class 'vBulletinHook' not found

    Someone please help us!

It might sound trivial, but try to re-upload all vb5 files in ascii mode. Also, as far as I am aware, forum.php shouldn't be in the forum root directory.

As stated, forum.php should definitely NOT be in the forum root directory. You should have NO vb4 files in the directory at all or you will have issues.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

I've received hundreds of emails since our upgrade to vBulletin 5.1.3 Patch Level 1 all pretty similar to these. Any idea what's going on?
