  • Error upgrading from 4.1.5

Hi, when I'm performing an upgrade from 4.1.5 to vb5, I have an error in Step 131 - Updating vb4_pagetemplate table

A window is opens and show a message that says "The server returned no response. This is probably due to a timeout setting. Please contact vBulletin Support for assistance".

    I don't know, but after that step starts using the following line in the functions: vB_Upgrade :: createAdminSession ();

What can I do to perform an upgrade to test it?

    regards.

Pagetemplate is a 5.X table. Need more information as the step number is not as helpful in the past, they changed based on your version.

Please upgrade to 4.2.0 and then upgrade to 5.X from there and see if you have the same problems.

If you're upgrading a large site, please use the Command Line Upgraders as outlined in the manual.

Thanks. The upgrade was finished successfully.

The only issue now is when I try to go to the admincp or to the forum, shows an error 500 on the screen and into my php log file, I see this:

PHP Fatal error: Class 'vB' not found in /home/xxxxx/public_html/vbtest/includes/vb5/template.php on line 86

You have your core path incorrectly setup.

It needs to be the full system path.

            so
            /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/vbtest/core

            In your presentation config.php file.

yes I know, but something is wrong because on my vb5 default style, looks like some images and colors are missing.

Go to AdminCP > Settings >> Options >> Styles and Languages and make sure the save CSS to file is set to NO

There's a way to change that into the database?, because the admin panel doesn't work (images, colores, collapsable options).

Turn off writing CSS to the File System under Settings -> Options -> Style & Language Settings. It currently doesn't work properly.

I can login into admin, but there´s no colors, or styles, only text and to expand the group doesn't work, therefore, I can't use the menu options.

click on expand all on the left frame and click Options, go to Site Name / URL / Contact Us and make sure the URL ends with /core
